How I use my Mobile

Well… technically it’s not a mobile. It’s a PDA. Here it is below.
I have had the KJam for about a year now. What you see in the photograph is the KJam with a music dock / handsfree docking station from Mobile Brando. I use my KJam for a lot of things.
- A mobile phone: The sound quality is actually quite good and I can also record converstions if I want to. The built in handsfree is also good, but now I use the dock as the handsfree.

Talking while Driving

In most cities in India, it is illegal to talk on your mobile while driving or riding. This law is enforced strictly in some cities, loosely in others and not at all in some. Many states in the USA are now on the way to banning the use of mobile phones while driving (Yes it is legal in most states). Now some states are putting into place a law that will prevent people from using their cell phones while driving unless they use a handsfree device. That is something that we already do in India.

Superbikes in India

If anyone has seen the Yamaha Motorcycles website recently, they have decided to bring in to India the first really large capacity motorcycles. The largest capacity motorcycle in India is the 500cc Royal Enfield motorcycles. There was the BMW F650; but that was a big flop mainly because back then no one would have liked to pay Rs. 500000 for a 2 wheeler.

Mumbai Police and Speeding

I read this morning that the Mumbai police is acquired 2 new speed guns at a cost of 11 lakhs each. These are also fitted with an 8 megapixel camera so that you can take a shot of the offending drivers. So now, you would expect them to fine more people who are gonna be caught speeding, right? NO, they say that they are not gonna fine anyone, but they are straightaway going to suspend the license of the person caught speeding.
A bit excessive I say.
