Ganpatipule
Ganapatipule is a beach destination near Mumbai. It is about 7 hours drive from the city and a favourite for religious people as it is one of the 8 places where one of Lord Ganesha’s forms is embodied in a temple. This is a set of pictures that I had taken during my trip there.

The beach at Ganpatipule is clean and there are stretches that are truly awesome

This is a view of the MTDC resort at Ganpatipule. Nice place to stay but crappy food.

That’s me.

The sun is beginning to set. However here you can’t drink on the beach as there is a temple nearby.

This is one of the other beaches that can just be driven onto and its so clean too

We played on this beach while it rained. The cold and warm waters mixed to give us an amazing feeling.

The entrance to the Jaigarh Fort

A lone old tree stands at the centre of the Fort’s compound

One of the Fort’s Ramparts

You can see a panoramic view of the different waters mixing in the sea from the Fort

A differently exposed shot of the setting sun

And another…

Its getting dark now

What the hell. Missed this shot by a fraction of a second

On our way back we ran into some monkeys.
