This is an extremely biased review of the city based on the 2 days that I was there. So in the event that you happen to love the city for a reason unfathomable to me, you can save your energy and not hit out against this review because… I just don’t care for your point [...]

Full Story »What Americans Should Do
Here is a little humour that all Americans could use considering the amount of stress that they must be under.
If you had purchased $1000 of shares a year ago in:
Delta Aitlines, you would have $49 today
AIG, you would have $33 today
Lehman Brothers, you would have $0 today
But if you had purchased $1000 of beer one [...]
Full Story »Letters from Iwo Jima
I finally saw Letters from Iwo Jima yesterday. The movie was extremely well made and the depictions of the time and life of the Japanese was very well done. The conditions on Iwo Jima (from what I have read) were shown well. Ken Watanbe was good as usual. I wonder how Client Eastwood was able [...]

Adsense Outage
At about 10:45PM Indian Standard Time, I tried to access my Adsense account and it was down. Then I tried again at 11:30PM IST and it was up. The page displayed was the site down message in about 20 languages.
I wonder how many people like me will put this up on various blogs and sites.
Windows 7 to have 20 Editions?
Microsoft has confirmed that its next version of Windows is actually going to be called Windows 7, dispelling rumours that it is going to be called something fancy. Hopefully this minimalistic approach will also spill over into the operating system as well and they will be able to deliver to us something that is clean [...]

New MacBooks are Here
I am no Apple fan. I feel that in terms of computing, Apple occupies a niche that I don’t really want to be a part of (I prefer the Linux niche). But, of course I am interested in all that Apple does from time to time. Be it the iPhone, the iPods or the brand, [...]
Full Story »The Customer is Not Always Right
There is a website that I visit very often. I have a special affinity to it as a person in the Service industry and also as a sales person. A website that is a slap on the face of the person/persons who came up with the term “The Customer is Always Right”, because in reality, [...]
Full Story »One of my Favourite XKCD Comics
This is one of my favourite xkcd comics. It literally sums up the music that I had to listen to while growing up. Listening to the music and understanding the words was as much as a challenge as getting the music in the first place. My brother used to charge my money for the lyrics. [...]
