This is one of my favourite xkcd comics. It literally sums up the music that I had to listen to while growing up. Listening to the music and understanding the words was as much as a challenge as getting the music in the first place. My brother used to charge my money for the lyrics. The city we used to live in at the time was crazy about break dancing and Michael Jackson was the first person they tried to emulate. MC Hammer came in a close second.
