Microsoft has confirmed that its next version of Windows is actually going to be called Windows 7, dispelling rumours that it is going to be called something fancy. Hopefully this minimalistic approach will also spill over into the operating system as well and they will be able to deliver to us something that is clean and simple and keeps the system up and running and away for the BSOD.

Anyway, I do hope that the types of Windows 7 that are eventually available are kept down to a minimum and so should the price of the versions.
