Photography Project No.1: Depth of Field

This is a set of shots that I have taken while going through a tutorial on Depth of Field. These are my first practice shots with a Bamboo plant and a fake flower. When I get a chance and a willing model, I will do some portraits also. The next couple of shots are with the fake blue flower.

So these were the first experiments with DOF. Like I said earlier, next I will try to get a few nice portrait shots.

Yeah. I am gonna build a small lightbox for macro shots of stuff. There are some good samples online. Do you know anywhere in Delhi where you can get Sigma or Tamron lenses for the Sony alpha mount?

JJ mehta..online..check that near you and has good deals..cool a lightbox…what lens are you thinking about?

JJ Mehta doesn’t have lenses for the Alpha mount that Sony uses. He has for Nikon and Canon. I found this other guy who has a minolta 100-300 telephoto for alpha mount. 12000 bucks. I was actually thinking of a 75-300 lens as an addon.
