Mumbai Airport Night Shots

A few days ago I went up to the roof of my building and set up my camera for some nice night shots of planes landing. I live in the vicinity of the Mumbai International Airport and can see planes landing from my living room window. Fortunately I can ony hear them if I listen real hard. Anyway, I wasn’t able to take any shots of the planes landing from the roof because there was another building blocking the view of the landing path. Also, I don’t have a sufficiently powerful zoom lens. So I just had to contend with shots of the airport itself with planes already there. Fortunately it’s all very well lit up and taking shots from so far away was not difficult. I also took a shot of the moon. The images are below, you can click on the thumbs for larger images.

I really want to get a good shot of a plane coming in to land. I know exactly where I need to be to get those shots but there is so much ambient light in that area that it might be a problem to trace the path of flight.
